He told reporters he had ‘no hand’ in any corruption at RAJUK, the development authority for capital Dhaka.

ACC Deputy Director Joton Kumar had summoned Huda in a letter sent to him on Wednesday.

“No instance of corruption at RAJUK passed through my hands. This is my open challenge.”

About the cause of him being called by the ACC, he told reporters, “The ACC asked for some information on a VIP. I was here to give them that.”

There is a secretary accused of irregularities concerning allocation of RAJUK plots, an ACC official told bdnews24.com.

The ACC has information about the RAJUK chief’s involvement in the corruption, he said.

When asked, ACC Commissioner (investigation) M Shahabuddin said, “We can’t say that he (RAJUK chief) is an accused at the moment.”

“He was called here to sort through the information we have on him.”
