The prosecution has pressed charges against three ‘Razakars’, including two siblings from Habiganj, in cases over crimes against humanity perpetrated during Bangladesh’s Liberation War in 1971.

They accused are Muhibur Rahman Barha Mia, his younger brother Mujibur Rahman Angur Mia and Abdur Razzak of Baniachang Upazila.
The prosecution submitted the charge-sheet before the International Crimes Tribunal-2 on Sunday.
The special court, headed by Justice Obaidul Hassan, fixed May 25 for an order on whether it would take cognisance of the charges.
Prosecutor Sultan Mahmud Simon and Tapas Kanti Bal were present when the charge-sheet was filed.
The tribunal had ordered submission by May 17.
On Apr 28, the investigation agency had released the enquiry report on the two brothers.
Barha Mia, 65, is a former chairman of Khagaurha union under Baniachang Upazila, and Angur Mia, 60, is the incumbent chairman of the union.
The investigator brought charges of murder, kidnap, detention, oppression, loot, arson and rape in four incidents against them.
The investigation into the allegations against the two began on Feb 11 last year and finished it on Apr 28.
He recorded statements of 21 witnesses.
The tribunal issued arrest warrant for the two on Feb 10 this year and Baniachang police arrested them hours later.
They were produced before the tribunal on Feb 12.
