Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached the western Indian state of Goa to attend the two-day BRICS-BIMSTEC outreach summit.

The special Bangladesh Biman Airlines flight carrying her landed at the naval base in Goa around 10:30am on Sunday.
Hasina was received by India's Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar, Goa's Science, Technology and Environment Minister Alina Saldanha and the Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali.
Her motorcade then left for the Hotel De Lille, where she would be staying during the two-day visit.
Hasina will attend a ceremonial luncheon for the summit participants hosted by Goa's Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar.
She will then join the retreat for BIMSTEC leaders in the afternoon.
Hasina's bilateral meeting with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi has been scheduled for 9pm.
The 8th BRICS summit that started on Saturday in Goa has brought together Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Brazilian President Michel Temer, South African President Jacob Zuma and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Leaders of BIMSTEC countries will now join the outreach meeting.
Apart from Hasina, others attending the summit are Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Maldives President Abdulla Yameen.
