DG Health made OSD

Director General Khandaker Md Shefayetullah of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has been made an Officer on Special Duty as the government gave a major shake-up in the administration.

Deen Mohammad Noorul Huq, director of the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, has been made the DGHS’s acting Director General.

Shefayetullah had been serving as the Director General since 2010.

Director General of the Department of Jute Nasir Uddin has been made Officer on Special Duty and sent to the Ministry of Public Administration.

A total of 19 joint secretaries were transferred to various ministries on Monday.

Joint Secretary of the Statistics & Informatics Division Md Alauddin Fokir has been transferred to the Roads and Highways Department.
