Chittagong, July 5 (bdnews24.com) – Additional commissioner Abdul Jalil Mandal, of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), was withdrawn on Monday.
CMP commissioner Md Moniruzzaman told bdnews24.com that Jalil had been asked to report to the Police Headquarters fast.
However, there were no reasons cited in the statement behind his withdrawal, he also said.
Moniruzzaman said the statement, signed by the DIG (admin) of the Inspector General of Police's office in Dhaka city, was faxed to him on Monday morning,
