BNP factional clash in Mirsharai leaves 1 dead

At least 10 others are injured in the infighting over committee dispute

One person has been killed and at least 10 others injured in a clash between two rival factions of the BNP in Chattogram’s Mirsharai, amid tensions over party committee formation.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at Shantirhat Road in Baraiyarhat Municipality, police said.

Law-enforcing agencies have been deployed in the area to prevent further violence, while the injured have been taken to local hospitals for treatment.
