Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has toured different roads in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area to inspect their cleanliness.
The prime minister drove the car himself to check how clean the roads in the northern part of the capital are, Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony said.
“[Tarique] has repeatedly said he wants to see the capital Dhaka as a clean city. That is why he is inspecting this area.”
The premier left his Gulshan residence at 4:05pm on Friday, with his car passing Shyamoli around 6:10pm.
He was accompanied by State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam, DNCC Administrator Safiqul Islam Milton, BNP Special Secretary Belayet Hossain, and his Private Secretary Mehedul Islam and Assistant Private Secretary Abdur Rahman Sunny.
