Police are yet to track down those behind the opening of a Facebook page acknowledging responsibility for the murder of Rajshahi University teacher Shafiul Islam even two days after the crime.

They have not been able to locate the IP address either.
A group calling itself Ansar al Islam Bangladesh-2 opened the Facebook page and claimed responsibility around 8pm, five hours after the killing.
CID chief Mokhlesur Rahman told bdnews24.com, “We don’t have the technology to detect the IP that was used to open the Facebook account.”
He said he was unaware of any other organisation possessing it. But he added the CID would soon acquire such technology.
