Jatin Sarker, a left-wing intellectual, Independence Award-winning writer, and teacher, will be taken to Netrokona for final respects and cremation.
After tributes, his last rites will be held there.

Jatin lived in that house for more than two and a half decades.
Later at 8pm, he will be taken to the central Shaheed Minar in Netrokona town, where local residents will honour him.

At 11pm, Jatin’s cremation will take place at the central crematorium on Barhatta Road in Netrokona.
The schedule was finalised after consultations with family, relatives and close friends, said the Udichi district president.
