Less than 1 percent of Bangladesh’s Annual Development Programme (ADP) was implemented in July, the first month of the 2026-27 fiscal year, with 10 ministries and divisions, including health, spending nothing from their allocations.
The implementation rate stood at just 0.69 percent in July, the same as in the first month of the previous fiscal year.
The latest report from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) of the planning ministry showed that government ministries and divisions spent Tk 21.21 billion in July, equivalent to 0.69 percent of the total ADP allocation.
The government spent Tk 21.21 billion in July, up from Tk 16.45 billion in the same month last year.
