India is “closely monitoring” Bangladesh's progress on the proposed Teesta River project and plans to purchase Chinese J-10 fighter aircraft, ANI has reported.
On Friday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reaffirmed that its development cooperation with Dhaka is guided by a “mutually agreed roadmap”.
At a weekly media briefing in New Delhi on Friday, Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India had already conveyed its position on the Teesta River Comprehensive Management and Restoration Project to Bangladesh.
He said New Delhi would take all related developments into account in shaping its overall approach to the issue, according to the Indian news agency.
