Three ambulance passengers killed in Pabna highway accident

Police say several others have been injured

A bus and an ambulance have crashed in Pabna Sadar Upazila, killing three people.

The accident occurred on the Pabna-Dhaka Highway's Saradangi at 7am on Thursday, said Ataikula Police Station chief Mojibur Rahman.

Police could not immediately identify the victims.

According to the officer, the ambulance was bound for Dhaka when it was involved in a crash with a Pabna Express bus arriving from the capital.

All three killed on the spot were travelling in the ambulance, he said, adding that several others were injured in the crash.
