Ten volunteers working for Mojo, a Bangladeshi brand that has engaged in relief services for the people of Gaza, have reportedly been killed in an Israeli strike.

Mojo has been relentlessly helping the people of Gaza for nearly a year and a half, the brand said in a statement on Thursday.

The organisation has been continuing its distribution of food, relief, and essential supplies to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian residents of the war-torn enclave.

The deaths occurred during this relief work, Mojo said.

A group of local volunteers in Gaza were engaged in food preparation and distribution activities funded by Mojo when the Israeli forces carried out a “barbaric attack” on these individuals who were fearlessly working to bring smiles to the faces of hungry children in Gaza, it said.

The victims have been identified as Alhajj Jum’a Shurrab, Mahmud, Usama, Ahmad, Abul Izz Uqqadahmad, Zakaria Shibbir, Al Izziddir, Ibrahim, Abduh Shurrab, and Muhammad Jum’a.

They were all citizens of Palestine, the statement read.

Expressing deep sorrow and respect for the loss of life, Mojo authorities said: "The sacrifice of these 10 heroic martyrs will be eternally remembered in the history of humanity. We offer our profound condolences to their families."

"Such atrocities by Israel will not break our resolve. Mojo will stand even more firmly by the people of Gaza."
