The Gono Odhikar Parishad has filed a complaint with police, accusing Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader, Secretary General Shameem Haider Patwary, and over 150 party activists of attacking a procession of Nurul Haque Nur’s party.

The complaint was filed with Ramna Police Station on Tuesday by Akhtaruzzaman Samrat Majhi, the organising secretary of the party’s student wing. He claimed to be injured in the attack.

Ramna Police chief Golam Faruq said, “We are verifying whether the incident occurred within the Ramna Thana area. Further action will be taken.”
