Dhaka board reopens SSC form fill-up window with late fee

Students can complete online form submission and pay fees with late charges from Feb 2 to Feb 5

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka is allowing students to submit forms for this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for an extended period.

Students under this board can now complete the registration process and pay the required fees with a late penalty between Feb 2 and Feb 5.

Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider, the board’s controller of examinations, told bdnews24.com on Monday afternoon that the extension applies only to Dhaka board students and a formal notice has already been issued.

The SSC exams will begin on Apr 21 and continue until May 20.

Written exams will be held from 10am to 1pm, while practical examinations are scheduled from Jun 7 to Jun 14.

Form submissions for SSC candidates began on Dec 31. Students were initially allowed to submit forms without late fees until Jan 10.

Later, online form submission was permitted with a late fee of Tk 100 per student from Jan 12 to Jan 17, with the final extended deadline ending on Jan 25.

The maximum form submission fee has been fixed at Tk 2,435 for science students, including the fourth subject.

For business studies and humanities students, the fee including the fourth subject is Tk 2,315.

The board said students must clear tuition and session charges up to Dec 31, 2025. Schools will not be allowed to collect more than 24 months of tuition fees for Classes 9 and 10.
