Bangladesh has recorded four more deaths from measles symptoms alongside 74 newly confirmed cases over the past 24 hours.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its bulletin on Sunday that the new cases were confirmed in the 24 hours to 8am Saturday.
The health authority has been releasing regular epidemiological updates on the disease since Mar 15.
The nationwide death toll from confirmed measles has reached 95, while 689 people have died with symptoms.
Dhaka Division logged the highest death toll among those showing symptoms, at 299, followed by Sylhet with 97, Rajshahi 89, Mymensingh 66, Chattogram 55, Barishal 43, Khulna 31 and Rangpur 9.
The DGHS said 699 people with measles symptoms sought treatment at hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours, with 649 admitted.
Admissions included 232 in Dhaka Division, 144 in Chattogram, 115 in Barishal, 66 in Sylhet, 38 in Khulna, 22 in Mymensingh, 21 in Rajshahi and 11 in Rangpur.
The cumulative number of hospital admissions has reached 99,249, of whom 95,529 have been discharged.
The suspected caseload has reached 116,710, with 14,318 confirmed through testing.
