On Tuesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 5.9-magnitude tremor at 9:33pm local time, followed by a 5.2-magnitude quake at 9:51pm, originating 67.8 km below the surface.
Earlier, at 4:36am, Satkhira in the southwest was shaken by a 4.1-magnitude tremor, according to the earthquake monitoring centre.
