Woman killed in house fire in Chattogram
A woman has died in a fire which swept through her house in Chattogram city’s Maijpara.

The three-room semi-concrete house caught fire around 10:15am on Thursday, said Jasim Uddin, assistant director of the fire service.
Four units of the EPZ and Karnaphuli EPZ Fire Station brought the flames under control around 11am.
The dead has been identified as the 30-year-old Shahina Aktar. She was alone in the house at the time of the incident.
"Shahina Aktar was trapped inside the house during the fire," said Karnaphuli EPZ Fire Station Fire leader Usha Marma.
The fire service could not immediately identify the cause of the fire.
