Two die as truck rams motorcycle in Rajshahi
Two bikers have been killed after a truck rammed their motorcycle in Rajshahi’s Puthia Upazila.

The accident took place on the Rajshahi-Natore Highway at Tarapur area around 8am on Sunday, said Mostafizur Rahman, sub-inspector of Poba Highway Police Outpost.
The dead have been identified as Emon Ali, 24, and Sujan Islam, 26.
The bikers fell off their vehicle after a freight truck from Rajshahi to Natore hit their motorcycle, said Sub-Inspector Mostafizur Rahman.
“The truck then ran them over, killing Emon on the spot. Sujan died on his way to hospital.”
The bodies were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsies, Mostafizur said.
