Two die as covered vans collide in Chattogram
A collision between two covered vans has left two people dead in Chattogram’s Mirsharai Upazila.

The dead have not been identified yet, but they appeared to be 25 and 45 years old, police said.
A covered van was parked at a U-turn point on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Sonapahar area early Wednesday, according to police. The second van rammed it from behind, knocking it off the road into a ditch.
An assistant to the driver died on the spot, Sohel Sarker, sub-inspector of Zorarganj Highway Police Outpost, told bdnews24.com.
The collision left the second vehicle damaged with its driver trapped inside. He was rushed to Mastan Nagar Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead.
