ACC serves notice on seven tied to Panama, Paradise Papers

The Anti-Corruption Commission has sent notices to seven people whose names appeared in the Panama Paper and Paradise Paper leaks, summoning them over money laundering allegations.

Four people named in the Panama Papers scandal must appear for questioning on Jul 16, while three others named in the Paradise Papers scandal must appear on Jul 17, ACC Deputy Director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told bdnews24.com.
 
ACC Deputy Director ASM Akhtar Hamid Bhuiyan summoned the suspects on Thursday.
 
The four whose names appeared in the Panama Papers are United Group’s Hasan Mahmood Raja, Khondker Moinul Ahsan, Ahmed Ismail Hossain and Akhtar Mahmud.
 
The three summoned over the Paradise Papers are WMV Ltd’s Erik Johan Anders Wilson, Intrepid Group’s Farhan Aqebur Rahman and Selcon Shipping Company’s Mahtaba Rahman.
