37th BCS results published
Bangladesh Public Service Commission has published the final results of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service or BCS examinations.

A total of 1,314 candidates were recommended for different cadres, Mehdi Shahnewaz Jalil, a spokesperson for the commission, told bdnews24.com on Tuesday.
As many as 3,454 candidates were kept on the waiting list of non-cadre posts, he said. A total of 4,768 candidates passed the final exams.
The written tests started on Feb 11 last year and continued until May 23 the same year with 5,379 candidates coming out successful.
A total of 2, 43,476 aspirants took part in the preliminary test on Sep 30, 2016. The commission published the circular of the 37th BCS on Jan 29, 2016 to fill up 1,226 posts.
