Man killed in ‘shootout’ in Sundarbans
A man has been killed in an alleged shootout with Rapid Action Battalion or RAB in Sundarbans’ Sharankhola range.

The shootout took place in Upazila’s Ambaria Khal on Tuesday morning, said Inspector Md Kabirul Islam, chief of Sharankhola Police Station.
RAB officials informed local police that a member of a forest robbery gang, Chottar Bahini, has died during a gunfight with them, he said.
Later the body has brought to the police station from the Sundarbans.
The 30-year-old man was not named immediately by the elite force.
