Border guards seize gold ornaments, 75 ostrich chicks in Satkhira
The members of Border Guard Bangladesh or BGB have seized gold ornaments worth nearly Tk 3 million and 75 ostrich chicks in two separate operations in Satkhira.

The operations were conducted in the Kushkhali Upazila and Padmo Shakhra Upazila’s border area early on Saturday, said Sarker Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, commanding officer of BGB-33 battalion.
However, the BGB team did not arrest anyone.
At least 11 lockets, 11 pair nose-pins and 77 rings were found in the Kushkhali border area, said BGB official Mostafizur.
In another operation, the BGB team seized 75 ostrich chicks from Padmo Shakhra area, he said.
