Airline spokesman Kamrul Islam said they have stopped operating the Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka flights from Wednesday.

However, flights on other domestic and international routes are being operated as scheduled, he said.

According to the airline’s website, the BS211 flight to Kathmandu was scheduled to take off from Dhaka at 12pm and fly back from the Nepalese capital for Bangladesh at 3pm.

The airline’s schedule for Wednesday showed six Dhaka-Chittagong flights as well as flights to Jessore, Barisal, Syedpur and Cox’s Bazar from the Dhaka airport.

But the 7:30am flight to Chittagong and the 11:30am flight to Kolkata were cancelled.

However, two other domestic flights to Chittagong and as many flights to Jessore, three for Syedpur, one each for Cox’s Bazar, Rajshahi and Sylhet and an international flight to Kuala Lumpur departed from Dhaka on Wednesday, according to flight-tracking website flightradar24.com.
