Two die as bus, truck collide in Rangpur
A head-on collision between a bus and a truck has left two people dead and injured ten others in Rangpur’s Mithapukur.

The crash took place on the Dhaka-Rangpur Highway in the Upazila’s Islampur area around 7am on Sunday, said SI Moazzem Hossain of the Bara Dargah Highway Police Outpost.
A Thakurgoan-bound Himel Paribahan bus collided head-on with a sand truck coming from the opposite direction, according to SI Hossain.
Two of the bus passengers died on the spot. Ten others were rescued with injuries and rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
The casualties have not been identified yet.
The bodies have been taken to the Bara Dargah Highway Police Outpost.
