Four bullet-ridden bodies found in Jessore

Police have recovered four bullet-ridden bodies from Jessore’s Sadar and Jhikargachha Upazilas.

Jessore Superintendent of Police Md Anisur Rahman made the announcement on Saturday. The four have yet to be identified.

According to the superintendent of police, locals informed police of two bodies at the Sadar Upazila’s Nongorpur and two others at Jhikargachha’s Chapatala.

“Locals said that shootouts between criminals in Nongorpara and robbers in Chapatala overnight led to the deaths.”

Two guns, two rounds of bullets, sharp weapons and gold ornaments were recovered from the scene, Rahman said.
