Businessman shot to death in Banani
A recruiter for foreign contracts has been shot to death in Banani, an upscale neighbourhood in Dhaka.

The businessman has been identified as 55-year-old Siddique Hossain, the owner of the MS Munshi Overseas manpower recruitment agency.
The attackers entered Hossain’s offices in Banani-4 around 8:30pm on Tuesday and shot him.
“A group of men entered the MS Munshi Overseas offices in House 113 in Banani-4 and opened fire,” Banani Police Station Inspector Abdul Matin told bdnews24.com. “Four people were wounded.”
The victims were taken to Gulshan’s United Hospital, where Hossain later died, the police official said.
The identities of the other victims have not been revealed.
“Hossain was the owner of the company. We have not yet confirmed whether the other three are his employees.
Police are looking for a motive for the shooting.
