Students have been ordered to leave their hall rooms by Tuesday evening, said College President Md Asad Hossain.

Second-year student Md Rubayet E Selim told bdnews24.com that fifth-year student Md Jahangir Hossain had received permission from doctors to have an X-ray scan for his mother.

“The outsource staff at the X-ray room behaved badly with them. This led to a clash.”

The staff say a group of students attacked and vandalised the hospital. Staff then called a strike demanding the vandals be brought to justice. The staff and students then became embroiled in another clash.
