Pabna DC asks forgiveness from High Court
High Court has ordered Pabna deputy commissioner (DC) to hand over 1.27 acres of land to its rightful owner in Ishwardi Upazila.

DC Rekha Rani Balo has been told to submit a written report after executing the order.
A bench of Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam and Justice Ashish Ranjan Das passed the order on Tuesday after hearing the DC's prayer for forgiveness and giving her another two months to execute the order.
Prosecutor Md Mesbahul Islam Asif said Rani was earlier ordered to hand over the land to one Abdur Rahim in Moshuria village.
Abdur Rahim had moved to the court to get back his property.
He filed another petition as the DC remained reluctant, advocate Mesbah told bdnews24.com.
Following his latest petition, the court summoned the DC to appear before it on Tuesday.
