Dhaka cafe attack 'inhuman carnage': Iran

Iran has condemned the terrorist attack in Dhaka and expressed condolences and sympathies to the families who lost their lives.

Foreign ministry spokesperson Bahram Qasemi in a statement said “this inhuman carnage is very painful and all should come together to seriously thwart the threats posed by terrorism to the international community”.

He said the terrorist proved that terrorism has no boundaries to jeopardise the international peace and security.

“Adopting double-standard policies in dealing with such heinous crimes will destabilize the region and disrupt the international peace and security,” said the spokesman.

“All peace-loving countries in the world should put mounting pressures on supporters of such extremist groups to help lessen the anti-human crimes,” he said, calling upon the international community to listen to the “peace seeking” voice of Iran.

He also sought serious campaign against terrorism and extremism.

“This dreadful crime once again revealed the real image of terrorism and carnage of defenceless people,” he said.
