Justice Md Ruhul Amin will be Bangladesh's Chief Justice from March 1, an official statement said Sunday. A Press Information Department (PID) statement said President Iajuddin Ahmed appointed the most senior judge of the Appellate Division to be the head of the judiciary. Syed JR Mudassir Hussain retires as chief justice on February 28.
