Nine units of firefighters are working to tame the blaze

A fire has broken out at a substation of the Aminbazar Power Grid distribution company on the outskirts of Dhaka.
At least nine units of the Fire Service are working to tame the blaze on Tuesday morning.
Madhab Chandra Saha, executive engineer of the Aminbazar grid substation, said: “One of our transformers caught on fire. We are experiencing a littly difficulty. However, we have managed to keep supplying power so far.”
Anwarul Islam, a spokesman for the Fire Service, said the fire was reported at 7:15am and the first firefighting unit arrived at the scene within five minutes. As of 8:30am, nine units were working at the scene.
