Four arrested over attempted arson, bomb attack at DUCSU member's house

They have been arrested in a joint drive

Police have arrested four suspects in connection with throwing crude bombs at DUCSU member Umma Uswatun Rafia’s Mymensingh residence, which the assailants also attempted to set on fire by pouring flammable materials.

Additional Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the arrest was made on Thursday night in a joint drive.

The arrested suspects are Masud Rana, 45, Arif, 30, Bipul, 21, and Rajon, 19, the latter three identified with a single name each.The attack on Rafia’s residence came on Wednesday night. Rafia’s brother Khandaker Zulkarnain Raad filed a case with Kotwali Police Station on Thursday.
