A week-long art exhibition celebrating the 80-year creative journey of Sheikh Rabiul Haque has been inaugurated at 5:00pm on Sunday, according to a press release.
It was held at Gallery 7 of the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, honouring the writer, painter, singer and entrepreneur.
Painter Rafiqun Nabi attended the inauguration as chief guest, said DGM.
Among the distinguished guests were painter Jyotsna Mahbuba and Kamrul Islam, general secretary of the Bangiya Sahitya Sanskriti Sangsad, along with other notable personalities, said Nazmul Hasan Khan Mojlish, deputy general manager of marketing and branding at Tropical Homes Ltd.

The exhibition will continue until Friday, Sept 18.
A cultural programme and discussion session will also be held on Tuesday, Sept 15, at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, highlighting various aspects of Haque's multifaceted creative contributions and his journey in art and culture, Mojlish added.
