Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain has visited Salmaniya Hospital in the capital Manama to check on those injured in the Iranian attack on Bahrain amid the escalating war in the Middle East.

During his visit to the hospital on Tuesday, the prince spoke to the injured, including expatriate Bangladeshis Nazimuddin and Kamrul Islam, who are undergoing treatment. He inquired about their treatment and wished them a speedy recovery.

The government’s top priority was to ensure the security of citizens and expatriates, he said at that time.

Economic Affairs Minister Salman Bin Khalifa al Khalifa and Health Minister Dr Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan accompanied him on the visit.

The prince praised the dedication and professionalism of the doctors, nurses, and related administrative officials at the hospital and expressed his gratitude to them.
