Russia does not recognise return of UN sanctions on Iran

It claims the snapback applies to others, not to them

Russia does not recognise the reimposition of United Nations sanctions on Iran, Russia's UN Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia told reporters on Wednesday when asked if Moscow would enforce the measures.

"We'll be living in two parallel realities, because for some snapback happened, for us it didn't," he said at a press conference to mark the start of Russia’s presidency of the UN Security Council for October.
