Malta recognises honorary consul Shoeb Chowdhury for diplomatic service

Chowdhury also met with the Maltese president during his visit

The government of Malta has conferred a special recognition on Shoeb Chowdhury, the honorary consul of Malta in Bangladesh for his contributions to bilateral diplomacy.

The recognition was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg at an official ceremony attended by senior government officials, including his Permanent Secretary Christopher Cutajar.

During the visit, Chowdhury met with President Myriam Spiteri Debono at the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta.

High Commissioner of Malta to Bangladesh Reuben Gauci congratulated Chowdhury, highlighting his role in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
