Renaissance Dhaka GM Al Amin named ‘Hotelier of the Year 2025’

The award recognises Al Amin’s leadership and contribution to Bangladesh’s hospitality and tourism sector

Md Al Amin, general manager of Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, has been awarded “Hotelier of the Year 2025” at the Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Awards.

The award was presented at a ceremony organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, recognising Al Amin’s leadership and contribution to Bangladesh’s hospitality and tourism sector, the hotel said in a statement.

According to the organisers, the honour acknowledges his role in promoting service excellence, operational innovation, staff development and sustainable hospitality practices at the hotel.

Under his leadership, Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel has strengthened its position in the country’s luxury hospitality segment, while showcasing Bangladeshi culture and professionalism to international guests, the statement said.

Speaking after receiving the award, Al Amin said: “This honour is deeply meaningful to me. I dedicate this award to my incredible team; whose passion and commitment make excellence possible every day. I am grateful to The Bangladesh Monitor for recognising our collective efforts and to the hospitality community of Bangladesh for its continued inspiration.”

The Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Awards are held annually to recognise individuals and organisations for their contributions to the development of the tourism and hospitality industry in Bangladesh.
