British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday all AI chatbots must be held to account, citing the case of Elon Musk's Grok, which was found to have generated non-consensual sexualised images.

"We went into battle, we made the necessary steps, we threatened action, and we won that battle in relation to Grok," Starmer said. "But we've got to do it with all AI bots, and we will do it."

Starmer's remarks follow government action to call out non-consensual intimate images being shared on Grok, which subsequently led to the function being removed.
