Barcelona agree over £69 million Anthony Gordon deal with Newcastle: report

He is now set to complete the formalities before joining England’s training camp in the US

Barcelona have agreed a deal worth more than £69 million with Newcastle United for England forward Anthony Gordon, BBC Sport reports.

The fee is understood to exceed 80 million euros (£69.3 million), with Gordon now set to complete the formalities of the move before joining England’s training camp in the United States ahead of the World Cup.

BBC Sport had earlier reported that talks between the clubs were at an advanced stage.

Bayern Munich also held discussions with Newcastle, but Barcelona eventually made an acceptable offer.
