Manchester City have agreed a deal with Nottingham Forest worth up to a British record £130 million to sign midfielder Elliot Anderson, BBC Sport reports.
The 23-year-old England international is now scheduled to undergo a medical before finalising his transfer to the Etihad Stadium.
Forest successfully held out for the landmark valuation after turning down two previous bids from the Premier League champions.
The final fee will eventually surpass the previous British record of £125 million, which Liverpool paid to Newcastle United for striker Alexander Isak last summer.
