Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has completed a £60 million transfer to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, ending his seven-year tenure in north London.
According to BBC Sport, the deal consists of a fixed £60 million fee alongside a sell-on clause, with the 25-year-old Brazil international signing a long-term contract with the club currently tied at the top of the table alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
Martinelli, who originally joined Arsenal from Brazilian outfit Ituano in 2019, entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium after being informed by manager Mikel Arteta that he was not in his plans for the upcoming season.
