SpaceX has launched 27 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, according to Spaceflight Now.
The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at 6:47 pm local time on Saturday, carrying the Starlink 15-27 mission.
About eight minutes and 30 seconds after launch, the Falcon 9’s reusable first-stage booster landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
The booster, B1093, completed its 17th flight after previously carrying out missions for the US Space Force’s Space Development Agency and 13 Starlink launches.
The 27 Starlink V2 Mini Optimised satellites were scheduled to deploy more than an hour after liftoff as SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, continued expanding its satellite internet network.
