Dhaka, Sept 27 (bdnews24.com)—BNP has claimed that at least 15 of its leaders and activists have been injured in an attack by pro-government activists in Shariatpur while supporters were obstructed by police in Gazipur on their way to Tuesday's rally at Naya Paltan in Dhaka.

"Our leaders and activists started gathering at the launch terminal from morning when the leaders and activists of Chhatra League and Juba League swooped on them."
Hiru said the Awami League's student front Chhatra League and youth wing Juba League halted launch operations following the attack and later on, the BNP men started for Dhaka by bus.
BNP's central executive committee member Shafiqur Rahman Kiron said that they were admitted to Damuda and Bhedarganj upazila health complexes.
Refuting the allegations, Naria Upazila Chhatra League president Badal Chowkider told bdnews24.com: "Two rival BNP groups clashed but now they are putting the blame on Chhatra League."
