Khaleda visits Evercare Hospital for medical check-up

Her medical board advised several check-ups, her physician says, adding she will return home after completion

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has visited Evercare Hospital for health tests advised by her medical board.

She left her Gulshan residence, Feroza, in her own car around 7:36pm on Thursday.

Her private physician AZM Zahid Hossain told bdnews24.com, “God willing, she will return home after the check-up.”

This was her first hospital visit since Jun 18, when she last underwent medical tests at Evercare.

Khaleda returned to Bangladesh on May 6 after four months of advanced treatment in London, where she received care under specialists at The London Clinic.

Since her return, she has been under the supervision of a medical board led by Evercare specialist Professor Shahabuddin Talukder at her residence.

Khaleda travelled to London on Jan 8 for advanced treatment, spending 17 days at The London Clinic before continuing care under experts, including doctors Patrick Kennedy and Jennifer Cross, at her son Tarique Rahman’s residence.
