At least 65 people have received treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after the Inqilab Moncho members demanding justice for Sharif Osman bin Hadi’s murder clashed with police.

Only one patient has been admitted for further care while a few others remain under observation, according to hospital Director Md Asaduzzaman on Friday.

The director noted that the facility received the influx of patients up until 11pm, the majority of whom were discharged following primary care for external wounds, including cuts, bruises and lacerations.

He said Mohiuddin Rony was the only patient admitted, adding that full body scans revealed no serious internal injury.

Rony complained of breathing difficulty and pain, prompting doctors to keep him hospitalised for observation, tests and further treatment.
