Embezzlement case against ex-MP Murshedy, 12 others ordered to trial

The judge set Aug 19 for the first day of recording testimony

A Dhaka court has ordered a case over the embezzlement of government property against 13 people, including former Khulna-4 MP Abdus Salam Murshedy, to trial.

Judge Md Abdus Salam of the Dhaka's Special Judges’ Court framed charges against the accused in the case on Monday.

The judge has fixed Aug 19 for the recording of testimony in the case, said Khademul Islam, the lawyer for the accused.
