Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has visited several polling centres in the capital after casting his vote in the ongoing general election and referendum.

Yunus voted at the Gulshan Model School and College polling centre on Thursday. He later visited Badda High School and SOS Hermann Gmeiner College in Mirpur to review the overall election situation.

During the visits, he spoke with voters and polling officials on duty.

The chief advisor later monitored voting across the country from the control room at the Police Headquarters.

Home Advisor Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam accompanied him during the visits.

Yunus also observed the nationwide voting situation from a temporary observation room set up at the State Guest House Jamuna.
