Risky Faujdarhat-Bayezid road

The constructors cut the hills at a 90-degree angle along the six-kilometre road linking Faujdarhat with Bayezid Bostami in Chattogram, creating huge risks of landslide. Chattogram Development Authority now wants to cut the hills further to an angle of 45 degrees in order to reduce the risk as the road has been opened to goods-laden vehicles even before the completion of the Tk 3.32 billion project.
